How Love Arrives

a Poem by soma

i do not want
told—shown—made
what i am
unclasp me with
ears—eyes—fingernails
witness me
singing—radiant—beautiful
heartsound stirring
dormant—buried—entombed
(do you crave me as
flowers do the bees?
how the leaves flutter
from a whisper?)
i drape love like
satin in a temple,
find a home inside
your breathcage
